LNA Training Program Spotlight

Steven Tendo is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional who has made a significant impact during his time at the University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC). He began his journey at the hospital by working as an orderly in the General Medicine department, where he demonstrated his commitment to assisting patients through some of their most challenging moments.

After two years at UVMMC, Steven joined the Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) training program, where he continued to excel. His motivation stems from a deep desire to provide support and care to those in need. Steven enjoys being a source of comfort and strength for his patients and brings a positive attitude to his work every day.

Steven is especially proud of his association with Baird 4, a unit that has provided him with unwavering support and encouragement throughout his career. He credits his leadership team and colleagues for fostering an environment where he could thrive and grow as a caregiver.

Upon completing the LNA training program, Steven has transitioned to working in Baird 4, where he continues to embody the values of teamwork, dedication, and empathy. His story is an inspiration to his peers and serves as a testament to his hard work and perseverance.
